Seal
We offer three typesof seal for our empty tea filter bags:
Drawstring -
Heat Seal - working with another company here on the west coast of Scotland, we have developed an adhesive made from an extract of seaweed that does not alter the smell or taste of the tea. This means that our heat seal tea filter bags are wholly natural, plastic free and home compostable. To use, simply fill the tea bag with your tea and then use an industry standard heat sealing machine to seal the bag closed (we use a Packer machine). We advise a low setting. It is possible to experiment with a standard home iron as long as it has a low heat setting.
